This comprehensive programme covers the fundamental aspects of oral surgery. Delegates will be able to manage cases from straightforward surgical extractions to more complex procedures such as implant surgeries and the management of oral pathological conditions.
The Diploma spans over 12 months with 18 days in total, incorporating lectures, hands-on practical sessions, typodont course, and case-based discussions, with a guided self-directed learning component between formal teaching days.
Delegatess will acquire knowledge and practical abilities that will enable them to evaluate, assess, diagnose and manage oral surgery cases in General Practice.

Lead Instructor
Dr Richard J Moore
A registered Consultant Oral Surgeon. He holds Fellowships at the Faculty of Dental Surgery and Faculty of Dental Trainers at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, along with being a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Currently, he serves as a Clinical Lecturer in Oral Surgery at the University of Leeds and an Honorary Consultant Oral Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. He also engages in academic contributions as a reviewer for several journals and international lecturer.
